This Range Broil Element is a replacement part with 1/4" push-on wire terminals that provides constant heat to the broiler when cooking. You must unplug the oven or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Be mindful not to let the wires connected to the current part fall back inside the oven when you disconnect them; retrieval of the wires will require additional steps during the installation.
