Description

This easy-to-install Range Temperature Sensor measures the oven temperature. If your oven isn't holding the correct temperature, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Remove the rear access panel to access the old sensor, then depress the tab to disconnect the sensor wire connector. Unscrew the sensor mounting screw and pull out the old sensor. Insert the new sensor into the hole in the rear panel and replace the mounting screw to secure it. Reconnect the wire connector and secure the access panel back into place.

Installing this high-quality part will require basic hand tools such as a multi-screwdriver, some disassembly of the range, and novice repair experience. Before installing this part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety. Also, make sure to shut off the gas before installation.
